                                             Merger/ Splitting of Company

Splitting of Company-

It refers to the process of split over the company in two or more parts. It is used when two partners of company want to be separate from each other or for losing the weight of file.

 Verification of Data-

This feature is used to verify the error in the splitting company. If there is any error than splitting process can’t work.

After verification of data, if no errors found then you can split the company.

Merger of Company-

Merger refers to the process of joint the two separate companies in one form or at one place.

In tally we can also merge the data of two companies in a group company

This feature is also used for head office and branch accounting.

Path-

Go to company info (Alt+F3) → Create Group Company.

Alert-

The feature ’Create Group Company’ will darkened only when two or more company will be open.
